Samburu, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara Safari | 6 Days, 5 nights Nairobi Kenya Safari to Samburu, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara

Samburu National Reserve is home to Africa’s big cats - lions, cheetahs and the elusive leopard. Safari to Samburu presents possible sighting of Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, Greater kudu and gerenuk - species found no where else in Kenya. The The Ewaso Nyiro River is where the elephants, buffalo and other animal species gather for a drink. You will find the scenic semiarid landscape quite dramatic.

Masai Mara Game Reserve is perhaps most famous for its lions. All other members of the "Big Five" can be seen while on a safari to Masai Mara, hippopotami are found in large groups in the Masai Mara and Talek Rivers. Cheetah are also to be found.

Lake Nakuru National Park is best known for its thousands, sometimes millions of flamingos nesting along the shores. Also of interest while on a safari to Lake Nakuru National park is a sanctuary to protect Rothschild giraffes and black rhinos.

Lake Naivasha is surrounded by forests of the yellow barked Acacia (the yellow fever tree) which abound with bird life while the waters of the lake draw a great range of game to these shores. Giraffes wander among the acacia, Buffalo wallow in the swamps and Colobus monkeys call from the treetops while the Lakes large hippo populations sleep the day out in the shallows.
