Our safari drive/guide will meet you at your Hotel in
Arusha and proceed to Lake Manyara National Park. Drive 130 Kms
paved road then swerve your way to get into Lake Manyara which
stretches 50 Kms along the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Lake
Manyara National Park is renowned for its tree climbing lions as
well as other animals which include elephants, giraffes,
buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests and impalas. Drive on the shores
of the Alkaline Lake to view the birds including the pelicans,
flamingoes, egrets, cormorants and storks. Make a short break
for picnic lunch then continue with game viewing. Leave the park
at 14:30hrs and drive to one of the hotels/lodges or campsites
at Lake Manyara for dinner and overnight stay. During the early
morning breakfast we will collect your lunch boxes and then
leave the Lodge approximately at 7:00hrs, and proceed to the
Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Today you will be rewarded by
visiting the Ngorongoro Crater widely known as the eighth
natural wonder in the world. On the base of the Crater, you will
be able to see elephants, buffaloes, African black–rhinoceros,
the black–maned lions, zebras, wildebeests and other species of
the antelope group. In the afternoon there will be a break for
picnic lunch at the site. Then continue with the tour. At about
16:00hrs leave the Crater and drive back to Arusha. |
